Tissierellales Details: NCBI 1737405, gram-negative or unknown [order]
| "Tissierellales" Alauzet et al. 2014| Tissierellales
Infections:
Some members of Tissierellales have been associated with human infections, particularly in the context of wounds and soft tissue infections. These bacteria can be opportunistic pathogens, causing infections in individuals with compromised immune systems or underlying health conditions.
Anaerobic Infections:
Many bacteria within the order Tissierellales are anaerobic, meaning they thrive in environments with low or no oxygen. Anaerobic infections can occur in various body sites, including the skin, soft tissues, and deeper internal structures.
Surgical Site Infections:
Tissierellales bacteria have been reported in the context of surgical site infections. Infections following surgical procedures can sometimes involve anaerobic bacteria, and Tissierellales may be one of the groups present in such infections.
Bacteremia:
In rare cases, Tissierellales bacteria may be isolated from blood cultures, indicating bacteremia. Bacteremia can be associated with severe infections and systemic complications.
Different labs use different software to read the sample. See this post for more details.
One lab may say you have none, another may say you have a lot! - This may be solely due to the software they are using to estimate.
We deem lab specific values using values from the KM method for each specific lab to be the most reliable.
Desired Levels Suggestions for Tissierellales
Frequency - how often do samples show this bacteria
UD - An alternative statistical algorithm (which factors in the frequency)
Kaltoft-Moldrup Heuristic Using uploaded data
Lab Low and High are calculated using the formula that most labs use: Mean - 2 Standard Deviation to Mean + 2 Standard Deviation
These are values that are computed from lab specific samples (Patent Pending)
